Piano Concert by the Chef


Imagine . . . you and your guests have just
finished dining and you now retire to the living
room to enjoy French-press coffee or Sauternes.
Dinner was divine: Each course, from the hors
d'oeuvres and an unforgettable soup, to the
spectacular dessert, are signatures of the
chef, who, with staff, personally plated
the meal in your kitchen. The whole
menu was carefully custom
composed specifically
for your occasion.

To compliment the
evening, you have arranged for
a brief piano concert after the meal.
Music of George Gershwin is featured,
along with romantic Gendel originals, and
selected classical pieces. The performance
is rich and expressive, full of color and
depth. The maestro is also the chef.
Cuisine and music, artistically
focused, to enrich
and to enjoy.

Mr. Gendel received his Masters
Degree in Piano Performance from the
University of Arizona. He studied piano with
James Rivers, Dr. Gary Wolf and Nicolas
Zumbro. He studied composition with
Dr. Larry Solomon and was a
member of the exploratory
improvisation group
"Transition".
